Just Another Day!

I am not a fan of Christmas, Yes its true, but just like the others I look forward on the thought that Id get to spend the day with my family, Christmas Party at the restaurant, see my crazy little cousins haggle through their ninongs and ninangs and fought their way up to reach their so-called quota. =P Me and my sister likes the Town Fiesta more than Christmas and Im much more excited for my birthday as well. Probably because im too old to enjoy the "mamasko" and instead ako yung "nagpapapasko". =) I know for a fact that it's HIS day, and yes I celebrate it in my heart, I mean everyday Im thankful for all the blessings we have received, for Erwin, for my relatives, for Erwins family and good health of my loved ones.. And yes, I do pray for my enemies too =).

But this 2009 Christmas is the most memorable to me (for now).. Last December 14, Mama has been confined here at the National Kidney and Transplant Institute. She complained about having stomach pains, she's been having that a lot and to ease the pain she'll contact the local nurse and have her injected Novane (Oh, yes ganyan ka addict Mama ko or better yet ganyan katigas ulos nya!). On NKTI, she was referred to Dr. Domingo, a gastro doctor, she was subjected to MRI lang.. and there it was, two stones on the way to pancreas and gall bladder. Papa insisted on having an operation and removing Mama's gallbladder, BUT Dr. Domingo insisted na wag na daw because the gall bladder was clear (or so he thought!).. So Mama had an ERPC (its a thing where you put a tube on the mouth and you get the stones). Sabi nila it was a success (kaya I headed to Boracay hehe) But on the third day, Mama was becoming weak and had difficulty breathing. Ayun na, from CT Scan, it was the GALL BLADDER thats producing the stones!!! Hay Naku, Papa had a fist! Galit na galit sya kay Dr. Domingo. And then the complications was there na, Mama had a weak heart so 80% chance to survive na the operation! 80% CHANCE!!! For a doctor to give a number, it is serious!

When they started the operation removing her gall bladder, I start texting my closest friends and relatives lang and ask for their prayers.. I didnt post a shout out on Facebook, Twitter, Multiply or even here! I did not announce it to the whole world.. Eh kasi naman some of my FB friends are not that close to me =).. I asked my friends for prayers.. And totoo pala what they say na when you're at your lowest point you'll realize who will help you the most.. You see, Mama is the strongest among us, the strongest among their family I think. Pag may problema she'll just shrug it off and move on! She can nag you for hours that you'll wish the floor will just eat you alive so when she blurted out na hirap na hirap na sya, it means she's giving up. I cried every day since the operation, I cried sa comfort room ng room ni Mama, I cried kahit na Im driving, I cried while talking to Jona while asa Philhealth ako, I cried while praying the rosary, I cried at night while Erwin comfort me, I cried while talking to Tita Dada.. But none of my family cried in front of Mama. After the success of the operation and her recovery period, I never haggled so much in praying...

To my relatives who prayed for Mama and visited her here in the hospital, Tita Baby, Tita Myla, Tita Sallie, Tita Fely, Tito Jun, Tito Michael, Tito Allan, Tita Noli, Tita Dada. Thank you for being there especially during the operation, it was a comfort seeing all of you na nanjan kay Mama.
Tita Emy and Tita Tita Rose- Mama's prayer warriors. Thank you for constantly calling and updating yourself with whats happening to Mama. I know grabe yung prayers nyo.. Super thank you talaga. Kina Tita Tess, Tita Annabelle din for visiting mama.
Leonard, Jun, Auds, Ayet, Jay S, Jay B, Allen, Quince, Jona, Mike, Ava and Paul- Thank you for your prayers! Super thanks talaga =) Esp kay Allen for the updates! =) Kay Quince na sorry I didnt answer your call kasi bka umiyak lang ako hehe. May mga iba pakong tinext pero hindi na nagreply haha! Baka walang load or iba na number nila =)

For two weeks in a row, Ive been writing sad face on my review schedule. And today, another sad face again.. Haaayyy.. Swear, tomorrow will be a happy face. I need to cram that 8 hours of study! This stupid headache must go away!!

Baguio in May

Went to Manaoag Church last month the off to Baguio for a night. =) Stayed at Bloomfields Hotel.


After settling down at the Hotel, went at Burnham Park the ate lunch at Chocolate De Batirol. =)

Went to session road for some Ukay Ukay, got some super nice Jackets.. It was a very fun and cute weekend =)

Baguio is LOVE for us. =P

FINALLY =)

Our grades are out and my friends and I are one of those people who is soooo blessed and lucky (or just really good at lawschool LOL) that we are graduating on June 20. =) Haaayyy... I am so happy when I got the news that I cried. The sleepless nights of thinking whether we'll take the bar or spending 5 hours studying is over. And so now, since we are taking the bar this September, got to rush up with 9 hours a day of reading and memorizing.. =P I just had 5 hours kanina of reading and I feel like vomiting na. I finished Mercantile, Civil and almost done on Remedial.. I still have 5 subjects to go!!! I just want to believe in myself that I'd be able to finish everything by September or aim for a 2nd reading (?) No more dvd marathon, no more series marathon.. But I NEED gym and movies if im so bored out..
Tip: If your in lawschool, mag ipon ka na ng GOOD KARMA so in the end or near graduation, you have something to rely on and to ponder. Hehe.

Papa is arriving na on tuesday. Yahoo!

Mama, Papa, Meka and Bella left today for California to prepare for my brothers garden wedding in San Leandro. Yeah, Ill miss it coz of review but I know they'll both have the time of their life during that day. =)

I just realized na super hirap pala na to be stuck in studying and not doing your chores.. As in.. Coz everytime I'll have a day off for chores, super my foot is aching kaka-clutch!! I hate manual!!! Just today, went to Manila from Tanay, then Sta. Cruz to dropp off Nao and Daney, got my Lola's clothes, bring it to Katips and now home.. It doesnt sound so tiring, but it does coz in the middle of my driving I just had to stop at Gilmore to but my cable printer and to stop at Rex Bookstore to grab some few books which cost me an unconscionable 4thou. Kainis!!! And now, my silly printer is not working!

Erwin's out for dinner with his college friends so im home alone. He said he'll be back after a couple of hour coz he doesnt feel good, buti na lang im taking vitamis or else ill be sick too. (Shet, im talking nonsense na). Anyway, what im looking forward this month is Merc? Nyeh! I just hope I could read all my backlogs.. Focus and just read read read. =)

I am so dead..

Promise I will start studying tomorrow.. So what I have accomplished today?
1. Wasn't able to attend my 9am Merc Class because of the freaking traffic in Edsa, took me two hours to get to school!
2. UST Hospital (girl thing)
3. Paid my Globe line. Yes, I got disconnected! So the whole time I was using my SUN.
4. Did some grocery shopping at Crossings Q. Ave. Got Erwin some chips and myself some bread, tuna, ham, chops and ground chicken. To think I did na my grocery 2 days ago at Savemore Tanay. I am so addicted to Supermarkets!! Aren't you? Its so fun!
5. Spent 1 hour at National Bookstore =) Got myself pens and more pens, calendar thingy and some papers =)
6. Got lost at Espana.. After I exited from UST I thought there's no left turn towards Espana Q Ave so I U-turned pa at Nagtahan! I know, super layo! Tanga-tanga ko talaga ever! =P
7. And now.. Facebooking!!

My car smells like Danggit and Siomai! How can I get rid of it???

Shall I take the MRT tomorrow OR drive and wake up at 6am????

Instead of sour-graping..

Yeah, I flunked subjects!!! So instead of magmukmok, spent my summer at Samar and Coron Palawan with Erwin. The Palawan trip is óne of Erwin's birthday gift to me... We stayed at Coron Gateway and did island hopping. Saw Beach 91, Siyete Picados, Cayangan Island and Malcapuya Island! It was a beautiful place talaga.. Sucks coz I didnt get to snorkel or much less swim coz of my super timing na period!!! Kainis talaga, so I was their official photographer. But I got the color I want, Im super dark na, hehe.. We are planning to go to Boracay again after Holy Week but I'm still thinking coz that 4 days without studying.. =( Haay.. I thought I'd be able to enjoy and study early for the bar yun pala I'm stuck with summer classes..

Oh, Congratulations to VJ and Jus for the wonderful news! Ninang ako ha!

Happy 40th Monthsary to us Honey! =) Can we please watch Confessions of a Shopaholic? Or anyone?

Our 5th Valentine together! =P

Its actually our 4th pero I consider kasi yung getting to know each other stage pa hehe =). But anyway, we want this year to be different so we celebrated it outside of Msnila (and Erwin and I made a concensus na from this year on we will celebrate our valentine together outside of Manila para maiba naman). So what did I do? Booked Boracay and Erwin booked Boracay Plaza. We arrived Caticlan at around 4pm and due to honey's addiction to Jonahs Fruitshake, we went there agad and he had his Chocolate Butter Peanut and I got a Melon Mango Shake. Super yum! =) For our dinner, we had Gasthof (they are famous for their baby back ribs)


After which, we had a few mojitos at Juice Bar then rested early.
For our 2nd day, breakfast at the resort, and then lunch at Talipapa, they have their own version of Dampa, which is super sarap! =) Theyre seafoods are all so fresh talaga. We had Crabs in Sweet Chili Sauce and Butter Garlic Shrimp =)

The rest of the afternoon, we spent it at Audrey's resort in Station 3, my pic below was suppose to be for picture purposes only pero Erwin got hooked with it and spent two hours fishing pero wala naman syang nakuha, hehe, he is so frustrated! =P

After Audrey's, we hit Jonahs again and this time, had isaw also! Ang sarap ng isaw nila in Boracay pero pricey, 10 bucks for 1 isaw, mahal noh? But anyway, for dinner we ate at an Inasal restaurant, at first we wanted to eat at Mang Inasal but I dont like the chicken there, its cheap pero the chicken is so dry and I will never again eat ther, so we ate at this Inasal resto again (we ate at the exact resto in our Bora 07). Yummy food and yummy sauce, hehe.


Erwin wanted to sleep early and I was okay with that (yeah, we are getting old) but last minute he changed his mind so we had a few drinks at Guillys Island, music was okay naman. The next and our last day, Valentine's Day! Breakfast at the resort and had lunch at Guilly's, we are craving for Sisig and man, Guilly's never failed us, yummy sisig and yummy sinigang na hipon! =) Oh, we went to Jinah's again for another fruitshake before going to the airport.. =)

And I was practically at the sun the whole day and still failed to get the tan line I want! Kainis! I wanted to get a little dark sana..


It was a fun valentine celebration indeed =) Looking forward for another valentine celebration with Erwin. =) Thinking we might celebrate it at Cebu next year.

Happy Hearts Day everyone! =) Sad coz its raining hard today here in Bora but excited to go home for tonights valentine party at the resto. =) Sad coz louie's leaving for the US this sunday for a vacation (yeah, kakainggit!) I will blog sbout my bora trip when I get back, sucks coz hindi naman ako umitim, no sun!!! Bye for now.. =P

Pretty busy...

Yeah, Im loaded now.. Got conflicts of law every sunday.. Got readings for Rem coz I flunked my midterms =( I have to do a lot of reading to passed my finals or else I wont be graduating =P.. So instead of going home, Im stucked reading and attending conflicts meeting, games etc. So yeah, what have I missed? A good saturday, my inaanaks binyag last sunday, a few reading for civil review and a good rest at home. Kainis! I thought it was well-planned.

But pretty much, Im excited for my Boracay weekend =)

The Big Bump

So now i'm finally okay.. No, no, not finally siguro but i'm pretty much getting there naman (Ayn, will tell you pag super im okay na, hehe). But anyway, I decided to blog coz I felt its such a good day to blog.. For one, I just got a text from a pretty close friend of mine that she's pregnant =). And just recently, a friend of mine got birth also, Congrats Karren! Haaayy.. Why do all girls now get so bumpy?! Yeah, I know, do I want it? Not now.. But I know soon ill get there. Im just super happy when a friend gets pregnant, coz everybody seems to be in a jolly mood and plus the fact that I love babies! And aside from the fact that we have another one on the way due this february, Sabella's brother is coming.. Yeah, my brother has two kids na and Im the eldest =).. For a moment, me and Erwin could have that, but I know God has other plans =)

So anyway, midterms are over! Im pretty doubtful on Taxation and my Remedial Exam =P. Super nakakatanga ang questions, Yeah I read the whole thing but when I started reading the questions, DUH?! I hope i'm in the median.. Pray misch!

So now, Im gonna go back studying for Mercantile and get some cases and move on with my life.. Im gonna charge everything to experience and I know the guy up there LOVES me so much!

Grabe, I think I did well naman kahit papano with my Conflict of Laws exam and my Mercantile Law Review exam.. Shoot, I super hope so!!! I still have my Remedial on Friday, Civil on Monday, Political on Wednesday and last but not the least, my Taxation Exam.. Haaayyy.. Please pray that I'll remember all the books that I read and memorized. I have those senior moments pa naman. Its Tanay Town Fiesta on Friday, sucks that I have my Rem at that day but it wont stop me, I'll go home on thurs hehe. So I have to study na tom.
Oh, Conflicts of Law (sportsfest of law schools) will be on February!!! And my Boracay Valentine date is soon na.. =P

My New Year post =p

2008 was rather a good year for me. Lots of memories, adventures, mishaps, friendships lost or in short another roller coaster ride for me.. There were bumps but I got through with it, may it be in school, my personal life and not so naman in my family. My 2008 is pretty fast, nothing barely happened. It was good in a sense that I was elected at school, got good grades, passed all the subjects, got new friends, less partying and stayed home, organized an event which turned out good and my relationship with Erwin is pretty good. However it was bad on the other side that I cram a lot this year, I became masungit ata =p. Yun lang. Sum it up, 2008 was a good year for me.

This 2009, Im looking forward to:
1. Pamper myself with a Nikon DSLR D60 (I super love it talaga!)
2. Get this must have perfume of mine (in order) Sheer Veil by Vera Wang, Paris Hilton, benetton Pink, Tommy Girl, Liz Sport, D&G Lite Blue, Gucci Envy =)
3. Graduate and take the Bar Exam
4. Be less masungit to honey
5. Lose weight, hehe
6. Get that Dolce and Gabbana shades that I have been eyeing for
7. Mirenesse Secret Weapon mascara
